Young Minnesota Playwrights uplifts student voices through professional theatre mentorship.

If your play is one of those selected you will be required to:

• Work with an assigned mentor to revise your play

• Professional theatre artists

• Meet virtually (Zoom, Google) once per month.

• Maintain the play requirements as outlined in GUIDELINES

• Attend at least one rehearsal at Park Square Theatre in downtown St. Paul during the week of June 21, 2026.

• Attend a dress rehearsal of your play with the other playwrights and mentors on Friday June 26, 2026, from approximately 4pm to 9pm at Park Square Theatre. (Dinner will be provided.)

• Attend the performance on Saturday June 27, 2026, and post-performance events from approximately 1pm to 10pm. (Dinner will be provided.
